Mark Neeter runs his own magazine group. He has worked as editor, news editor and features editor on a range of consumer and business titles, holding senior editorial and management positions at Haymarket and EMAP.

Keith Nelson worked on many EMAP launches and relaunches including Total Sport, Garden Answers and Angling Times. He set up their coaching and development scheme and now runs his own organisational change consultancy.

Steve Nichols runs InfoTech Communications - an agency producing magazines, newsletters and e-communications for business. His clients include Haymarket Publishing, CW Corporate Communications, Trident Communications and The Communications Project.

Mike Nicks is an editorial director who has been involved in the launch and redesign of more than 25 magazines and newspapers in Britain, France and the USA. He speaks French and Spanish, and writes for The Observer, the Independent and The Guardian.

Elizabeth Orcutt is an award-winning photojournalist. After working as a picture editor on Horse & Hound and designing pages on The Field magazine, she returned to photography in 1999. Her clients include Newmarket Racecourse and Guards Polo Club, and a range of publications including The Times, Geographical and Country Life.

Rupert Paul is a freelance editor and writer. A former editorial director at Emap consumer magazines, he's hired 30 editors and worked in 22 magazine markets. He co-launched RiDE magazine and has extensive experience in in relaunching and understanding specialist readerships. He has edited eight national publications. He is currently editor of MCN Sport and Natural World.

Gordon Radley is one of the main anchors for Sky News. He also presents, reports and produces for ITV and satellite stations. His experience includes news-reading, presenting and producing for many of the country's main television stations.

Alan Rogers has worked on both sides of the desk as a copywriter/designer and as a client. As literature manager for companies such as Tarmac, ICL and BT, he is recognised as a 'literature expert'. Six years ago, he started up his own advertising consultancy.

Steve Rose produced major news and current affairs programmes for the BBC, including the Today programme on Radio Four, Newsnight on BBC2, Watchdog and the main news bulletins on BBC1. He's now a media consultant for multi-national companies, start-up channels and voluntary organisations.

Tony Simms began his career as a reporter on local papers and freelanced for the nationals while studying for his law degree. He specialises in media law and editorial training, and works closely with the NCTJ and the Society of Editors.

Nigel Tutt is a freelance journalist based in Milan, running his own newsletter and contributing to newspapers and magazines all over Europe. He trained as an accountant but switched to journalism, starting as a reporter on Accountancy Age. He has written books tracing famous taxation scams.
